We are excited and ready for our 2025 season as the Walden Creek Wahoo Swim Team!

As you navigate through registration we wanted to draw your attention to a few important items:

1. Rummage Sale - On May 3 from 8am-1pm, we will be holding our 2nd annual fundraiser Rummage Sale at the pool. If you would like to volunteer at the sale (and earn points) or donate items you will be able to indicate this in your registration. Drop off at the pool for donated items will begin the week of April 27th. Save the date! Funds raised at this event help make the season extra fun for our swimmers (social events, theme nights, etc!)


2. Swim Team Kickoff/Meet the Coaches- We will be having a swim team kick off on May 10 from 10am-12pm at the pool.. We will have our coaches there, we will be selling swag and getting everyone excited about the season! Please stop by the pool between 10-12.


3. Big/Little Wahoos - We are excited to be continuing with our Big/Little Wahoo Mentorship Program where an older swimmer from 11-18 age groups (Bigs) will be paired with a 6U swimmer (Littles) to help our youngest swimmers feel welcomed into our Wahoo family. Commitment from older swimmers includes being available to their 6U swimmer for guidance, questions, cheering on during swim meets and being their primary "catcher" at meets. We are also hoping to hold at least one Big/Little activity/craft session during the season for you to attend together. If you have an older swimmer interested in this program, please let us know!


4. Parents Meeting, Pizza at the Pool & Suit Swap - We will be having a parents meeting for all new and returning parents at 7pm on the first day of practice, May 12. Please plan to be there and be sure to pre-order pizza for your family! Please feel free to bring any old swim team suits that are too small now to swap with families who might have one in your size!
