Greetings Wahoo Families,

On Tuesday evening, we will host the Woodcreek Whitecaps.  Swimmers should arrive and check in by 4:45pm.  Please mark your swimmer's number on each upper arm prior to arrival. Heat sheets will be published Tuesday morning.  Info for the meet can be found on the MEET DOC.

We are offering Jersey Mikes subs in addition to pizza this week.  Pre-order your food today!

Team theme for the meet is Hawaiian/Beach.  

Team Photos & Caps

We have team photos priced to sell at $5.  Additionally, we have team caps for sale at only $10.  If you ask your friends from other teams what they paid for theirs - I can almost guarantee its significantly higher.  We would love to see more swimmers rocking team caps.  The cap on the team store is black, but we have some blue stock also if you ask. If you have preordered caps or photos, you can get them at the meet Tuesday.

If you are going to attend, please declare ASAP. I need to send some info for tent size this afternoon and while the deadline isn't until Wednesday, this would make planning significantly easier.

A note about the fee: I had some swimmers and parents express surprise about the cost.  The actual fees per event have not changed much in the past 5 years.  This year, instead of pricing per event, I tried to streamline fees by just giving the total. For example: in the past we charged kids $6 per event and had the parents do the math.  This year, I just gave the lump total for 6&u (2 events x 6=$12) and 7+ (3 events x $6 = $18) My apologies for any confusion.  Cary & Scottish hills use this event as a fundraiser but the fees also pay for the awards kids can win (trophies, medals & ribbons).
