It's Meet Day! | Please Read!

Good Morning Wahoo Families!

It is going to be a hot one tonight.  Please make plans to be and stay hydrated.  

  • Bring water, sports drinks, frozen fruit with high water content (pineapple, watermelon etc).  
  • Additionally, it can be a good idea to freeze some damp washcloths and pack them in your cooler to use at the meet to cool down.  
  • Wear a swimsuit! We will take short breaks following freestyle and backstroke for adults (not swimmers) to take a quick dip and cool off.  Also makes it way more convenient to get a parent relay :)
  • Wear sunscreen 
  • If you or other family members have health issues that could become safety issues in the heat -stay home.  
  • We will have a misting tent set up for the swimmers to cool off.  

Heat sheets have been added to the meet doc.  Each team is having swimmers do 3 individual events tonight (2 for 6&u) to keep things moving in the heat.  It is helpful if you can mark your swimmers numbers and events on their arms before arriving. Swimmers should be checked in by 4:45pm.
